Description
While I still love large, expressive painting, I’m increasingly drawn to creating realist work. I like getting lost in the details. I find that it quiets my brain and calms me. There’s something contemplative and meditative about creating realist images. My grandmother used to tell me stories about "magic" rocks that had a vein of a different type of rock that wrapped all the way around them. When she passed away, I found these rocks on the beach near her home in Hyannis Port, MA.
