Description
While I still love large, expressive painting, I’m increasingly drawn to creating realist work. I like getting lost in the details. I find that it quiets my brain and calms me. There’s something contemplative and meditative about creating realist images. For this painting, I worked from a photograph a friend took of the nest on their porch.
