This is a painting from a series of paintings I did about my father, a jazz musician, who died from dementia. Throughout the series, I use the elephant as a symbol for dementia. It chronicles my family's heartbreaking and hilarious journey through my dad's dementia and includes 40 paintings. You can purchase it at http://shop.emilypageart.com/products/fractured-memories or on Amazon.
